Pumpkin Spice Lattes (PSLs) have become an undeniable part of the American coffee culture, and now that fall is here, the pumpkin-spice floodgates have opened. From Caribou Coffee's Pumpkin White Mochas to Scooter's Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée lattes, the options are overwhelming. Food & Wine has curated a list of offerings across 12 major coffee chains nationwide.

A worthy contender for the essential autumn coffee trail is Minnesota's Caribou Coffee who have introduced nearly 10 seasonal drinks, including a pumpkin syrup mixed with white mocha and a Honeycrisp Apple Syrup latte. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, meanwhile, is beckoning customers with signature layered lattes with pumpkin syrup and House & Nut Lattes.

Across 14,000 nationwide locations, Massachusetts-based Dunkin has unleashed a full menu of fall warmers like the fan-favorite Pumpkin Swirl along with new introductions like the Cereal N’ Milk Latte. Taking inspiration from our beloved seasonal desserts, Dutch Bros has offered treats such as Cookie Butter Lattes and Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée coffee to its menu across its 1,000 locations.

Adding on to the seasonal drinks haul are East Coast go-to La Colombe with draft Pumpkin Spice Oat Milk latte and Pumpin Pie Chai Oat Draft Latte; Luckin Coffee’s debut pumpkin drink with "velvety milk" crafted with real pumpkin purée, and McDonald's drive-thru returing Pumpkin Spice Latte hot with a seasonal Pumpkin & Crème Pie.

For those deviating from traditional autumn drinks, California-based Peet’s offers Cardamon Citrus Cold Brew Oat Latte and Cardamon Citrus Mocha Frappé with popping pearls as well as pumpkin-themed delights. Giving a nod to the sweet season is midwestern favorite, Scooter’s Coffee with syrupy indulgences like Pumpkin Caramelicious, and quirky Caramel Apple Red Bull Infusion.

As part of expanding its iced coffee offerings, Sonic Drive-In is also bringing a Salted Caramel Toffee drink to the table. Last but not least, Starbucks, the origin of the PSL movement, reported a record launch of its fall menu and is set to release Crisp Apple flavors this month. Canadian chain, Tim Hortons, is including in its lineup a Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp and a delightful Caramel Apple flavor.

With such an eclectic mix of seasonal drinks this fall, it will take more than a few visits to your local coffee chain to get through them all. Hope you're as thirsty for the season as we are.
