Red Lobster is adding a burst of flavor in time for the holiday season, with a slew of new offerings on their menu, many of which come at a budget-friendly price point below $20.

The seafood restaurant announced three new Seafood Boil flavors this Monday: Lemon Pepper Butter, described as a "bright, zesty kick," Old Bay and Butter, a "savory twist on a classic," and the RL Signature Butter, a "bold blend of all the flavors." These are welcome additions to the existing Seafood Boil options which include the Maine lobster tail-studded Mariner's Boil and the Louisiana-inspired Sailor's Boil.

As highlighted by Food & Wine, these seafood boils are renowned as a Southern favorite, meant to be shared amongst loved ones. Tradition sees them served in large shake-and-serve bags, and yes, Red Lobster is in on the tradition too. These new flavors are the perfect reason to gather your friends and family this holiday season and make mealtime fun.

But the holiday additions don't stop at Seafood Boils. Red Lobster is expanding their under-$20 options with two new dishes: Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya and Shrimp Scampi Linguini. Plus, to make things even sweeter this season, they're introducing three holiday cocktails. Expect the warming presence of the Under the Mistletoe, featuring Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon, cranberry juice, and blackberry, and the festive Sugar Cookie Martini with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, RumChata, and Amaretto. Additionally, there's a comeback for the Snow Globe Sangria, an in-house favorite featuring St. Germain Elderflower, Barefoot Moscato, white cranberry juice, sparkling gold shimmer, and Starry.

These changes follow a series of updates from Red Lobster in the last year. The chain rebounded from bankruptcy in 2024 after the enormous expense of its Endless Shrimp deal threatened its viability. However, under the helm of their newly appointed CEO, Damola Adamolekun, the company saw a successful turnaround. Not only did Adamolekun revive the shrimp on the menu, but he did so with a more practical and sustainable "spendless" deal offering three shrimp dishes for just $16.

At the launch of this new deal, Adamolekun said, "Since stepping into this role, I've gotten questions about Endless Shrimp - 'Is it coming back?' 'What really happened with the promotion?' 'How much shrimp is too much shrimp?' It's time we officially turn the tide. We're starting a new chapter here at Red Lobster, one that's smarter, more sustainable, and still packed with the unbeatable value and delicious flavors our guests have come to expect."

Given this newest assortment of flavorful offerings, it does seem as if Adamolekun is indeed delivering on those commitments.
