Cinnabon, renowned for their warm cinnamon rolls, is joining forces with famed ice cream purveyors, Carvel, for a gastronomic venture that ventures well beyond the typical mall delicacies.

Cinnabon Swirl, a dessert haven is set to tickle the taste buds of fans with an array of indulgent desserts, ice cream pints, and their signature freshly baked cinnamon rolls. The first of these stores will open its doors in Hillsboro, Oregon in May, followed by more openings throughout the United States within the year.

Recognizing this distinctive concept as unlike any other treat experience, Cinnabon's executive chef Jennifer Holwill sees this partnership as an instinctive move for these two beloved names in the world of sweets. Holwill believes in the wonders of a union that starts with a simple question: "How do you make a Cinnabon cinnamon roll better?" The answer? It's by crowning it with creamy ice cream from Carvel.

Even though there exist a few combined Cinnabon and Carvel outlets, Cinnabon Swirl is the first to fully mix the specialties of the two brands under one roof. Both brands are subsidiaries of GoTo Foods, which also operates other popular chains such as Auntie Anne’s and Jamba.

According to Holwill, this unique concept responds to the rising demand for one-of-a-kind, indulgent experiences by mixing two iconic brands.

Residents in Arizona, Georgia, and California can look forward to the arrival of Cinnabon Swirls in their states in 2025. For those located elsewhere, fear not! Approximately 30 more locations are expected to open across the nation soon.

Cinnabon guarantees that patrons will be spoilt for choice with a scrumptious selection of creations. The freshly baked cinnamon rolls at the heart of the new concept will give the treat a warm and inviting appeal, with baking occurring every 30 minutes in-store.

Among other mouthwatering delights, the Bonini stands out as the star concoction. This marvelous treat includes a swirl of Carvel vanilla soft serve housed in a Cinnabon cinnamon bun fresh from the oven. The Bonini is set to win over many patrons, promises the restaurant development team.

Describing it as a “warm Cinnabon ice cream sandwich,” Holwill is confident that this incredible treat will pique everyone's curiosity and become an instant favorite. Other menu offerings include the Cinnabon Swirl Sundae and ice cream sandwiches filled with Carvel’s legendary soft serve stashed between two chocolate chip cookies.

The Hillsboro branch will feature a fresh flavor of soft serve every month, starting off with Birthday Cake and Cold Brew in May. Thus, Cinnabon Swirl creates the ideal space for indulging your sweet cravings and fulfilling your dessert dreams.
