Starbucks Unveils Holiday Menu and Returns an Old Favorite
- Oct 21, 2025
The mercury may not yet have fallen all over the United States, but Starbucks is already getting into the winter holiday spirit.
Starting from November 6, their much-anticipated holiday menu will be accessible in Starbucks outlets across the country, including the yearly Red Cup Day, which features free holiday cups. Although Starbucks hasn't made any new drink announcements this year, they will revive a beloved flavor that hasn't been seen in a while.
Starbucks will unfold its winter menu in two phases, similar to its fall offerings. The initial phase will feature several fan classics, including the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Gingerbread Chai, and the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, available from November 6. The second phase, set for a yet-to-be-announced date later in the season, is expected to include the reunion of the Chestnut Praline Latte and a long-time crowd-pleaser, the Eggnog Latte.
The creamy Eggnog Latte first made its appearance on Starbucks' menu in 1986, setting the trend for seasonal items before the Pumpkin Spice Latte was launched in 2003. Its removal from menus in 2014 led to an strong fan outcry, which caused it to be restored. In 2021, the Eggnog was only available at Starbucks Reserve Roasteries, despite fans clamoring for its wider release, demonstrating the brace of the vintage drink.
Food blogger Markie Devo recently took to social media to spread the word about the return of the Eggnog Latte, receiving an outpour of excitement in the comments.
In addition to refreshing the drink menu, Starbucks will also introduce two new festive delicacies- a Polar Bear Cake Pop and Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread. Some cherished comeback treats include the Snowman Cookie, Cranberry Bliss Bar, and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish.
In case the holiday excitement is too much to handle, Starbucks has already put its holiday grocery items out in selected retailers. This week, expect creamers, ready-to-drink coffees, Keurig, and Nespresso pods in festive flavors like Peppermint Mocha, Chestnut Praline, and Sugar Cookie Latte. They are also releasing bagged coffee blends named the Thanksgiving Blend, Christmas Blend, Christmas Blonde Roast, and Holiday Blend.
To make things even more exciting, a Hello Kitty and Starbucks collab is heading to nationwide cafes. The collection, priced starting at $25, includes a plush Kitty outfitted with a green apron, as well as an range of mugs and tumblers. It's a nostalgic and warm celebration of friendship, available at participating Starbucks outlets in the United States and Canada from November 6. It could be the perfect addition to your holiday shopping during your first Eggnog Latte run.
From what we are seeing, this holiday season is all geared up to be cozy, bright, and merry. Stay tuned for more updates and make sure you mark your calendars for November 6 to be a part of the winter festivity at Starbucks.
