Taco Bell's 2026 Menu: A Daring Year for Delicious Food
- Apr 11, 2026
Taco Bell has given a glimpse into what's cooking, by revealing its 2026 menu lineup. The company made the announcement at their third annual Live Más LIVE conference, an immersive event designed for loyal fans and insiders put on by parent company, Yum! Brands.
Global Chief Brand Officer, Taylor Montgomery, framed the event as a taste of what is poised to be a productive year. Montgomery stated, "We’re a company of innovation at our heart, constantly pushing boundaries– not only with our menu, but in our role in culture and entertainment." As per her, the star-filled Hollywood night was an opportunity to showcase the company's innovations, promising that 2026 will be one of their most audacious years yet.
High on the list of good news, Nacho Fries are about to become a fixture on the menu from 2026 forward. While the company will continue to toy with short-term flavor twists, such as the Flamin’ Hot Nacho Fries, the group itself will be a mainstay.
However, some patience may be required as it is not clear when each innovative item will be available at a Taco Bell near you. It is suggested that the most eagerly awaited items are worth the wait.
The new entrants feature robust and familiar flavors. Cheesy G Sliders, for instance, are filled with three kinds of cheese and a protein choice on a fried white-corn shell. Mexican Pizza Empanadas, another 2026 innovation, are filled with seasoned beef and cheese with a Mexican Pizza sauce serving on the side.
Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza will be making its debut on menus with a Jalapeño Citrus sauce, while the Flamin’ Hot Mini Taco Salad promises to be a "refreshing twist on a classic.” The company is also planning special events throughout the year, with pop-ups in specific cities.
2026 will also see crispy chicken taking center stage. After successfully relaunching Crispy Chicken Nuggets, three new variations will be hitting the drive-thrus later this year. Diablo Dusted and Cool Ranch Doritos Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets will be a twist on the classic, while Flamin’ Hot Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets are the product of a partnership with Cheetos.
While the company is traditionally not known for a rigorous dessert menu, this aspect is also set for a revamp. The development team has plans to put a sweet spin on some traditional items. For instance, Crème Brûlée Crunchwrap Slider and Chocolate Fudge & Caramel Empanadas will give dessert lovers something to look forward to, and the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Midnight Pie is predicted to match its original lemon-lime counterpart in popularity.
Not stopping at treats, a total of eight desserts and sweet beverages are on the table for Taco Bell in 2026. This lineup includes the Strawberry & Cream Mexican Pizza Bites, Strawberry Horchata Refresca, Cold Brew with Purple Horchata Cold Foam, and Salt & Straw Tacolate Chiller. From drinks to main courses and desserts, this year's menu holds many unexpected surprises.
